Dental implants are titanium devices, generally in the form of screws, that are surgically placed in the bone substituting the root of the missing tooth. On top of these artificial roots it is possible to fabricate a single crown, if a single tooth is to be replaced, or a bridge, if more than one tooth is missing. Fixed prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry that replaces missing teeth or the reconstruction of compromised teeth. It is called ‘fixed’ because it cannot be removed by the patient.
– Veneers: Are thin laminates of ceramic that are cemented on anterior teeth to change their shape and color.
– Crown. When the crown (visible part) of a tooth is compromised to the point that it needs to be replaced a crown is indicated. Crowns are made with different materials in order to achieve high esthetic results.
– Fixed partial dentures (prosthetic bridge): one or more missing teeth can be substitute with artificial teeth connected to prosthetic crowns on adjacent teeth.

Conscious sedation is a combination of medicines to help you relax and to block pain during dental procedures. Our Clinic collaborates with anesthesiologists specialised in conscious sedation in dentistry. The anesthesiologist will monitor you during your procedure to make sure you are okay. This person will stay with you at all times during the procedure. After conscious sedation you will not remember much about the procedure.

In our Clinic we have an intra-oral digital X-ray system and a Cone Beam 3D CBCT Imaging. Thanks to these machines the X-ray exposure is 90% lower than the conventional radiology that is still used in most dental offices. The Cone Beam 3D performs CT scans and three-dimensional reconstructions of the maxilla/mandible for diagnostic and pre-implantology evaluation. The patient can make the exam immediately, directly in our Clinic, without the need to be referred to external offices and to face long waiting lists.
